Every dog we place is chosen for a specific family and a specific life. These are some of the families we’ve matched, and how their dogs have settled in, told in their own words.
Client story
The situation: running a large cattle ranch and broiler operation, often alone in remote bush, and looking for a companion and protector in one: a dog that would adapt easily to a busy outdoor life.
The match: Billy Bones, a fully trained 3-year-old Belgian Malinois. We spent a weekend on the farm to help him settle in and teach the basics of his training. Later the family added Milly, a puppy selected and trained especially for them.
Billy Bones slotted into his new life with no fuss at all – like he was born for it.
Both our dogs are high energy and intense but also have the ability to switch off and chill when we put our feet up… They are our best companions, our protectors, our life levellers, our daily laughs and have fitted into our lifestyle perfectly.
They procure and produce on a very selective basis, choosing puppies to suit the person and job required, taking special care of the animals’ welfare, with a good match being of utmost importance.

The situation: first came to us in 2020 for a trained protection dog, Gambit, and trained and worked with him for three years with our support.
The match: years later, with more experience, Ripley booked a puppy from a planned breeding, asking for more drive than the first dog.
What I can say is I got exactly what I asked for and more. He arrived with the most exceptional bite inhibition on family and the household pets.
He is sweet, affectionate and beautifully balanced. We are enjoying him as a great all-round family pet and an intense and driven working dog. You honestly get the best of both worlds when buying a dog from Marilé and Charles.

The situation: a busy family home with two young boys, looking for a dog that would fit their routine and guard the property.
The match: Jezzi, selected for the family and given her final training and obedience before going home.
We had a great experience with Marilé & Charles on the selection and getting Jezzi ready for our family. The waiting period for final training and obedience was totally worth it.
Jezzi blended in perfectly with our family routine after a couple of weeks and is also used to our two younger sons. She is alert and guards the property, and loves accompanying me to work in the car or going for a run with my wife.
